About GFI Art Gallery
The GFI Art Gallery, located in Gqeberha Central, South Africa, is a premier cultural landmark housed in a heritage Art Deco building designed by Gertruida Brinkman, the country's first female architecture graduate. Originally built in 1936 as a private residence, the structure was transformed into a public gallery that now permanently features the Ron Belling Military Aviation Collection alongside rotating contemporary exhibitions from Eastern Cape artists. Admission to the gallery is free, and it operates Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
