Umngazi Hotel & Spa is a coastal resort located along the Wild Coast of the Eastern Cape, South Africa, situated where the Mngazi River meets the Indian Ocean near Port St Johns. The property features sixty-eight thatched-roof bungalows divided into dedicated family-friendly sections with garden or river views, and secluded adults-only hillside and river-mouth chalets. Operating on a full-board basis, the resort serves three meals daily, including specialized dining facilities for children with child-minders, and hosts a weekly seafood dinner featuring traditional Pondo musical performances.

Guests have access to an elevated hillside spa, a creative activities centre for young children, and outdoor amenities including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, guided hiking trails through local mangrove forests, and boat crossings to the nearby beaches and sand dunes. Access to the remote resort is available via private charter flights from Durban to a nearby landing strip, commercial flights into Mthatha Airport with subsequent road transfers, or a self-drive route culminating in a ten-kilometre unpaved gravel road that requires a high-clearance vehicle.
