Poenas Rus is a 24-hectare self-catering fishing resort and farm located along the Wilger River where it flows into the Vaal Dam in Heilbron, Free State. The property features a 400-metre waterfront dedicated to bank fishing, a boat slipway, a jetty, and a children's playground equipped with trampolines and a jungle gym. It provides self-catering units and campsites alongside communal ablution facilities, enforcing strict guidelines that prohibit pets and restrict powerboat activities to a designated area.
