About Egweni River Lodge Parkrun

The Egweni River Lodge parkrun is a free, weekly 5km community event held every Saturday at 8:00 AM along the Vaal River in Parys, South Africa. The flat, out-and-back course begins on the grass at Egweni River Lodge, transitions to a dirt track crossing three small cement bridges, and turns around near a palisade fence. While the event is free to walk or run, participants must register online beforehand and present their scannable barcode at the finish line to receive an officially timed result.
