About The River Club Golf Course
The River Club Golf Course is an ultra-exclusive, private club located on Links Road in Sandton, Johannesburg. Often called "the Augusta National of South Africa," it does not offer a pay-and-play facility and is restricted to members and their guests. Design: A classic 18-hole parkland course designed by Robert Grimsdell in 1967. Key Features: Known for its pristine conditioning, tree-lined fairways, and a challenging finishing stretch. The Braamfontein Spruit flows through the property, creating water hazards on several holes, particularly the 14th through 18th.
