The Ditsong Pioneer Museum is an open-air living history museum located in Silverton, Pretoria. Its central attraction is a restored T-shaped thatched farmhouse built in 1848 by Voortrekker settler Adolf Machiel Botha on the original farm Hartebeestpoort, making it one of the oldest structures still standing in Pretoria. The museum provides an immersive look into the 19th-century rural lifestyle of early South African pioneers. Hours: Open daily from 07:30 to 16:00 (closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday).
