About Emerald Resort Parkrun
The Emerald Resort parkrun is a free, weekly timed 5km event held every Saturday at 8:00 AM at the Emerald Resort & Casino in Vanderbijlpark. The flat, single-lap course takes participants along grass, trail, and jeep tracks through the Emerald Game Park and along the Vaal River, where free-roaming wildlife like zebras and impalas can be seen. While open to all walkers, joggers, and runners at no cost, participants must complete a one-time registration online and bring a printed barcode to receive an official finish time.
