About Lonehill Parkrun

The Lonehill parkrun is a free, timed 5-kilometre community event held every Saturday at 8:00 AM at Lonehill Park Dam in Johannesburg. The two-lap, clockwise course follows wide paths near the Lonehill Koppie Nature Reserve and includes a 550-metre uphill section along with a turn on Crestwood Drive. While participation is open to all fitness levels, runners and walkers must register online beforehand and bring their scannable barcode to receive an official time. Safe parking and public facilities are accessible at the adjacent Lonehill Shopping Centre, located roughly 300 metres from the starting line.
