About Woodlands Parkrun
Woodlands parkrun is a free, weekly community 5k event held every Saturday at 8:00 AM at The Woodlands Office Park in Woodmead, Sandton. The moderately hilly, two-loop circular course navigates paved paths and roads before entering an on-site nature reserve. Due to strict security protocols, all vehicle and pedestrian entrance gates close exactly at 7:45 AM, and participants must present a valid ID or driver's license to enter the commercial park. Registration is free but required once, and participants must bring their personal scannable barcode to receive a recorded finish time.
