About uShaka Marine World

uShaka Marine World is a 16-hectare marine theme park situated on the Golden Mile in Durban, featuring the fifth-largest aquarium in the world by water volume. The park is uniquely designed around a replica 1940s cargo shipwreck, which houses underground viewing galleries where visitors can observe marine life, as well as the signature Cargo Hold Restaurant featuring a window into a shark tank.

The destination is divided into distinct zones, including uShaka Sea World, which hosts a dolphin stadium, a seal stadium, a penguin rookery, and a snorkel lagoon. Additionally, the park includes uShaka Wet 'n Wild, a freshwater waterpark with a variety of high-speed waterslides and a lazy river, Dangerous Creatures, an exhibit dedicated to reptiles and amphibians, and uShaka Village Walk, an open-air retail and dining marketplace designed with traditional African architecture.
