About Blue Lagoon Parkrun
The Blue Lagoon parkrun is a free, weekly community 5km event held every Saturday at 8:00 AM along the uMngeni River in Durban. Starting at the Kingfisher Canoe Club, the multi-surface course takes participants through paving, grass, and forested trail sections, including a loop within the local mangroves. While open to all running and walking paces, participants must complete a one-time registration and bring a scannable personal barcode to receive an official finishing time.
