About Durban Point Parkrun
The Durban Point parkrun is a free, weekly 5km community event held every Saturday at 8:00 AM along the Point Waterfront in Durban. The entirely volunteer-led event follows a flat, paved route that starts outside the Durban Marine Lifesavers building on Erskine Terrace, stretching along the promenade and through parts of the uShaka Marine World complex. While participation is open to all fitness levels at no cost, runners and walkers must complete a one-time online registration beforehand to receive a scannable barcode for official time tracking.
