About Dusi Parkrun
The Dusi parkrun is a free, weekly, timed 5km event held every Saturday at 8:00 am along the Msunduzi River in Pietermaritzburg. Starting and finishing at the Natal Canoe Club in Camps Drift, the flat course utilizes a mixture of grass fields, gravel paths, and dirt roads. The community-led event is open to runners, walkers, and volunteers, but participants must register online beforehand and present their unique parkrun barcode to receive an official time.
