About Moses Mabhida Stadium

Moses Mabhida Stadium is a multi-purpose sporting arena in Durban, South Africa, built for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and named after the anti-apartheid leader Moses Mabhida. The 55,500-seat stadium is architecturally distinct for its 350-metre-long, Y-shaped grand arch that rises 106 metres above the pitch to symbolise a unified nation. Serving as the home ground for AmaZulu F.C., the venue features a Teflon-coated roof, hosts major soccer matches and concerts, and offers commercial tourism attractions including stadium tours and adventure activities.
