About Jakelskloof Links
Jakelskloof Links is the world’s first proclaimed mountain links golf course, established in 1995 and located on the R539 in the Schoemanskloof region of Mpumalanga, South Africa. This public-access facility features a 9-hole layout with a par of 35, stretching over a total length of 3,015 metres across Kikuyu grass fairways that integrate traditional open links terrain with rugged mountain elevations.
Alongside the golf course, the property operates an on-site lodge offering self-catering chalets with private braai areas, a pro shop for equipment needs, and a restaurant providing views of the surrounding mountain valley. The club is open weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and weekends from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, serving as a venue for visitor tee times, corporate events, and club memberships.
