About Ngwenya Lodge
Ngwenya Lodge is a self-catering holiday resort situated on the property known as Farm Whisky along Tenbosch Road in Komatipoort, Mpumalanga, positioned directly on the banks of the Crocodile River facing the southern boundary of the Kruger National Park. This geographic location permits the viewing of wildlife, including the Big Five, directly from the resort's elevated viewing decks, hides, and riverfront accommodation units.
The lodge features an array of on-site amenities, including six swimming pools, the Riverside Terrace Restaurant, a day spa, an eighteen-hole mini-golf course, tennis courts, and several children's play areas. It functions as a base for safaris due to its proximity to the park's Crocodile Bridge Gate, which is located approximately twelve kilometres away. Because the property is situated within a high-risk malaria zone, preventative health measures and insect repellents are standard recommendations for visitors.
