The Rusty Feather is a family-owned, women-led bistro, bar, and adventure hub situated on the waterfront banks of the Crocodile River at the major T-junction of the R512 and R104 in Broederstroom, Hartbeespoort. Sharing its grounds with Paddle Power Adventures, the venue serves as a launchpad for outdoor activities including 5km river rafting trips, abseiling, a rage room, and the 6km Harties River Hiking Trail, which hosts specialized events like the Harties Beer Trail and Cocktail Crawl.

The fully licensed restaurant features a riverfront deck and an on-site honesty library, offering an all-day menu that includes artisanal breakfasts, sourdough bread, burgers, steaks, pap and wors, craft beers, and cocktails. The property is pet-friendly for leashed dogs in outdoor spaces though pets are restricted from the hiking trail due to local wildlife and it regularly hosts the Broederstroom Country Market on select Saturdays alongside monthly outdoor cinema events.
