Kai Kai parkrun
About Kai Kai parkrun
Held every Saturday morning at 08:00 AM on Kobus Meiring Street, the Kai Kai parkrun is a vibrant, free 5 km community event open to runners, joggers, walkers, and volunteers of all fitness levels. Nestled inside the scenic Kai Kai Residential Development in McDougalls Bay, this double-loop, fully paved track holds the title of the westernmost parkrun on the African continent. The route treats participants to spectacular ocean vistas on one side and dramatic desert mountain ranges in the distance on the other. Adding to its artistic charm, the track wraps past the magnificent "Wall of Expression"—a massive, Gaudi-inspired community mosaic structure. It is completely family, stroller, and dog-friendly, offering an unforgettable and healthy way to kick off a weekend along the Diamond Coast.
