About Calvinia Museum
The Calvinia Museum is a major historical and cultural landmark in the Northern Cape, housed in a beautifully preserved Art Deco-style synagogue built in 1920. It is one of the largest museums in the province outside of Kimberley and serves as a comprehensive archive of the Hantam region’s agricultural, social, and geological history.
