About The Northern Drakensberg Nature Way

The Northern Drakensberg Nature Way is a 4-day, 55km slackpacking trail launched in September 2025 by The Carte Collection. This multi-stage route traverses the newly gazetted Northern Drakensberg Nature Reserve, linking four established lodges with daily luggage transfers and fully catered meals. Accommodations: The route connects four founding properties: The Cavern Resort & Spa, Greenfire Drakensberg Lodge, The Berghouse & Cottages, and Montusi Mountain Lodge.
