The Maloti-Drakensberg Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers some of South Africa's most iconic hiking experiences, ranging from the world-famous Amphitheatre in the north to the rugged Giant's Cup Trail in the south. Sentinel Peak (Chain Ladders) - This 11.5 km (7.2 mi) route is the primary access to the top of the Amphitheatre. It features two vertical iron chain ladders (30m and 25m) to reach the escarpment plateau. Hikers are rewarded with views of Tugela Falls, the world's second-highest waterfall, plunging 948m.
