About Somopho Hills
Somopho Hills Adventure Park, located in the rural KwaSomopho community near Empangeni in northern KwaZulu-Natal, offers a variety of scenic hiking trails that double as cultural experiences. Founded in 2021 by Lungani Mthembu, the park is situated just 50 metres from the grave of Inkosi Somopho Ka Sikhala, a revered Zulu warrior, and integrates historical storytelling into its outdoor activities.
