About Aasvoëlbad Hiking Trail
The Aasvoëlbad Hiking Trail is a scenic, well-marked trail situated on a private farm in the Magaliesberg Biosphere, approximately 12 km south of Brits in the North West Province. The trail is famous for the Cape Griffin Vultures that breed on the southern slopes and bathe on the farm during the warmest parts of the day. The trails are generally rated as moderate to intermediate and take hikers through diverse ecosystems including dense bush and ancient rock formations.
