About Fernwood Trail

This is a popular, lush trail on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. Locals often refer to it as the "Fernwood Track" or part of the Newlands Forest loops. It typically connects Newlands Forest to the Contour Path. Many hikers use it as a moderate loop starting from the Newlands Forest parking or Rhodes Memorial.
