Unlike the exposed, rocky climbs of central Table Mountain, this trail offers a lush, forested escape that feels worlds away from the city bustle. The trail is characterized by its shaded, indigenous forest canopy, making it an excellent choice for hotter days. It follows a peaceful stream, creating a tranquil soundscape of running water and birdsong. As you move deeper, the gorge narrows into spectacular rock faces. The highlight is the "chock-stone"—a massive boulder wedged between the sandstone walls.
