About British Garrison Hospital
The British Garrison Hospital in Bloemfontein is a historical site located off 1899 Monument Rd, specifically situated within the grounds of the Anglo-Boer War Museum. Originally built around 1902–1904, the hospital was part of the infrastructure established by British occupying forces during and after the Second South African War (1899–1902). Relocation: The building was originally located elsewhere and was carefully dismantled, documented, and unveiled at the museum in February 2010 to preserve its heritage.
