About Nobel Square

Nobel Square is a prominent public space in the Victoria & Alfred (V&A) Waterfront in Cape Town. It serves as a tribute to the country's four Nobel Peace Prize laureates. The Four Laureates: Larger-than-life statues of Albert Luthuli, Desmond Tutu, F.W. de Klerk, and Nelson Mandela. They are arranged in a crescent formation with Table Mountain as a backdrop. Peace and Democracy: A fifth sculpture by Noria Mabasa, located more centrally, which acknowledges the contribution of women and children to attaining peace in South Africa.
