About Kettlespout Falls
Kettlespout Falls is a natural waterfall located in Hogsback within the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. The site is named for a unique phenomenon where heavy water flow and strong winds force water through a narrow rocky gorge, spraying it up to five meters into the air to resemble a steaming kettle. Reaching the waterfall requires a moderate-to-strenuous hike of approximately 2.5 hours return, with trail access points located near the Hogsback Arboretum, Forest Drive, and the Hobbiton Outdoor Education Centre.
