About Howick Falls Public Park
Howick Falls Public Park is a popular scenic destination in the heart of Howick, KwaZulu-Natal, featuring a spectacular 95-meter (312-foot) waterfall known in Zulu as KwaNogqaza ("Place of the Tall One"). Main Viewing Platform: A developed deck offering panoramic views of the falls cascading into the deep Dolerite gorge.Gorge Walk: A guided or self-guided hike to the base of the falls (approx. 1 hour each way). Note that a small fee is charged by the Howick Falls Conservancy for this trail. Craft Markets: Stalls near the viewing deck sell authentic Zulu beadwork, handmade art, and local souvenirs.
