About Kamberg Rock Art Center
The Kamberg Rock Art Centre is the gateway to some of the world's most significant San rock art, located within the Kamberg Nature Reserve in the uKhahlamba-Drakensberg Park (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). It is best known for providing access to the Game Pass Shelter, often called the "Rosetta Stone" of Southern African rock art because it was here that archaeologists first "cracked the code" to understanding the spiritual symbolism of San paintings.
