The Clock Tower is an iconic Victorian Gothic landmark in the heart of the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town. Built in 1882 as the original Port Captain's Office, it remains a symbol of the city's maritime history with its distinctive red facade and pointed Gothic windows. Ground Floor: Houses an original tidal gauge mechanism used to check levels for ships. Second Floor: Contains a decorative mirror room that once allowed the captain a full view of harbor activities. Top Floor: Home to the original clock mechanism imported from Edinburgh
