The Constantia Nek Jeep Track (often referred to as the "betonpad" due to its partially paved/concrete sections) is one of Cape Town's most accessible and rewarding trails. Whether you are a casual stroller, a trail runner, or a dog walker, this route offers a great balance of physical effort and scenic payoff. While the initial climb is consistent and steep enough to get your heart rate up, the wide jeep track makes it much less strenuous than other Table Mountain routes like Platteklip or Skeleton Gorge. The southern suburbs, and eventually Hout Bay as you ascend. The higher you go, the more the landscape shifts into a "world of its own" with sandstone formations and unique fynbos.
