About Constantianek-betonpad
The Constantia Nek Jeep Track (often referred to as the betonpad or concrete path) is one of Cape Town's most accessible and popular routes for a "mountain fix" without the intensity of a vertical climb. The path offers a "split" experience. It starts in shaded, lush forest before opening up to sweeping views of the Constantia Valley and Hout Bay. If you follow the path for about 60–90 minutes, you reach the De Villiers Dam, with options to continue to the Woodhead and Hely Hutchinson reservoirs.
