Built in the 1890s for reservoir workers, it now serves as a high-demand, off-grid escape with unparalleled views of False Bay and the Hottentots Holland Mountains. You can walk along the massive 528-metre masonry wall and visit the Waterworks Museum nearby, which houses a restored steam engine used during the original construction.
