About The Woolshed
The Woolshed in Witsand is a historic landmark located along Joseph Barry Drive at the entrance of the town. Originally built between 1830 and 1865, it is regarded as the first wool shed built in South Africa. Today, it serves as a central hub for food, crafts, and community events. The venue houses several attractions that make it a popular stop for visitors and locals: Koffie 'n Kletz: A well-known coffee shop, WJ Crafts & Witsand Market, A massive retail space featuring over 150–180 stalls.
