Lake Pleasant Holiday Resort is a tranquil, family-owned destination situated on the shores of Groenvlei, the only natural freshwater lake along South Africa's Garden Route. Located halfway between Wilderness and Knysna near Sedgefield, it offers a blend of shaded camping and self-catering accommodation within a bird sanctuary bordering the Goukamma Nature Reserve. Caravan & Camping Sites: 55 large, level, and lawned stands with options for full shade, semi-shade, or sun. Each site includes 16-amp power and nearby water points. Timber Cottages (Chalets): Three-bedroom units nestled against the hill with wooden decks, built-in braais, and fireplaces. Garden Lodges: Brick-built two-bedroom units surrounded by trees, suitable for up to four or six guests.
