About Sapphire Fishing Charters

Sapphire Fishing Charters is an owner-run deep-sea fishing operation based out of Hout Bay Harbour in Cape Town. Operating a 25.5-foot cabin boat managed by Skipper Jonathan, the company specializes in full-day offshore big game tuna safaris targeting Yellowfin, Longfin, Bigeye, and Bluefin Tuna. In addition to offshore excursions, the charter provides seasonal inshore trips for Yellowtail and Snoek using artificial lure techniques, tracks game fish up the West Coast to locations like Yzerfontein and St Helena Bay, and runs private coastal eco-tours for marine birding and whale watching.
