About Warmwaterberg Spa
Warmwaterberg Spa is a historic mineral spring resort situated on a 600-hectare property along the Route 62 highway between Barrydale and Ladismith in the Western Cape. The resort is centered around a natural artesian spring that yields untreated, iron-rich thermal water emerging at a source temperature of 44°C. The property features two outdoor hot pools, one cold pool, and a variety of self-catering accommodation options, including historic bathhouses dating back to 1886, studio units, timber chalets, and permanent caravans alongside grassy camping and caravan sites.
Additional amenities on the property include a fully licensed country-style restaurant and bar, an off-sales liquor outlet stocking regional wines, a small convenience kiosk, and communal braai facilities. The resort is accessible to both overnight guests and day visitors, who are required to bring their own towels to use the swimming facilities.
