The Rhodes Cottage Museum is a historical site and provincial heritage landmark located at 246 Main Road in Muizenberg, Cape Town. It serves as a museum commemorating the life of Cecil John Rhodes and is the site where he died in 1902. Historical Exhibits: The cottage houses original furniture, including the De Beers boardroom table, and personal items like the wooden chest Rhodes brought when he first arrived in South Africa. Architecture & Grounds: The building features a thatched roof and a wide veranda designed by the firm of Sir Herbert Baker. The mountainside garden blends English country style with indigenous Cape fynbos.
