About Century City Parkrun
The Century City parkrun is a free, weekly 5km community event held every Saturday at 8:00 am at Ratanga Park in Century City, Cape Town. The flat course takes participants along scenic canal paths, around the borders of Intaka Island, and over wooden bridges, navigating a mix of paving, tarmac, and grass. It ranks among the highest-attended parkruns globally, welcoming runners and walkers of all fitness levels. While participation is entirely free, participants must complete a one-time registration online and bring a scannable personal barcode to receive an official timed result.
