About Durbanville Parkrun
The Durbanville parkrun is a free, weekly 5km timed event held every Saturday at 08:00 AM at the Meerendal Wine Estate in Cape Town. Participants must register online beforehand and bring a scannable copy of their personal barcode to receive an official finish time. The single-loop trail course features an undulating dirt path that winds through the estate's vineyards and requires a pre-run briefing at 07:50 AM. Due to venue safety regulations, dogs are strictly prohibited, and severe weather cancellations are posted by 06:45 AM on the event's social media page.
