About Green Point Parkrun

Green Point parkrun is a free, weekly 5km community event held every Saturday at 8:00 am at the Green Point Urban Park and sports fields in Cape Town. The flat, paved course loops through the park and stadium precinct, making it accessible for both prams and wheelchairs. Participants must complete a one-time online registration and bring their personal barcode to receive a timed result. The event relies entirely on local volunteers, starts near the Park Café, and is subject to occasional cancellations due to other major events in the area.
