About Groeneweide Parkrun
The Groeneweide parkrun is a free, weekly 5km community event held every Saturday at 8:00 AM at Groeneweide Farm in Franskraal, South Africa. The trail-based course features scenic views of the Atlantic Ocean, fynbos vegetation, and local landmarks like the Uilenskraal Estuary. Participants must complete a one-time registration online and bring their personal barcode to receive a timed result, with dogs permitted on short leashes and post-event socialising hosted at the on-site farm restaurant.
