About Hermanus Parkrun

Hermanus parkrun is a free, weekly 5km community event held every Saturday at 8:00 AM at the Hermanus Forest along Camphill Road in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. The single-loop course traverses a mix of gravel tracks, tar paths, and forest trails, featuring scenic mountain views and a section near the Camphill School grounds. Open to walkers, joggers, and runners of all fitness levels, the event requires a one-time online registration and a scannable barcode to record official times. The trail is entirely volunteer-run, dog-friendly for pets on short leashes, and operates year-round regardless of weather conditions.
