About Hout Bay Parkrun
The Hout Bay parkrun is a free, weekly 5km community event held every Saturday at 8:00 AM. Rather than a fast road race, it is a scenic, off-road trail event that takes participants through local wetlands, sandy paths, and muddy trails, all against a backdrop of stunning mountain views. Because the route follows narrow, winding footpaths and jeep tracks alongside the Hout Bay River, double-width buggies and prams are not allowed.
