About Rondebosch Common parkrun
The Rondebosch Common parkrun is a free, weekly, timed 5-kilometre event held every Saturday at 08:00 AM at Rondebosch Common in Cape Town. The flat, two-lap course follows the paved perimeter pathway clockwise along Park, Camp Ground, Sawkins, Klipfontein, and Milner Roads. Participants must register online once and bring a scannable personal barcode to receive an official time. The event is organised entirely by volunteers, welcomes walkers, runners, dogs on short leashes, and prams, and hosts its post-event social gathering at the nearby Oval Café.
