Baked Shakespeare is an innovative, national South African interactive theatre company. A live entertainment business and touring performance troupe. The company has taken the Western Cape and international festival circuits by storm with its cult-classic, psychedelic adaptations of classic Shakespeare plays. The unique, comedic premise involves the audience voting for two professional actors who must get "baked" (consume cannabis) on stage via a bong whenever the audience interjects, resulting in a chaotic, hilarious, and highly engaging adult performance.
