75 Kloof Street is the home of ëlgr, an elegant and innately urban restaurant where Jesper Nilsson and his team serve up globally inspired shared-plates dining. The menu is an ever changing feast of exciting flavour marriages, while a woodfired oven sends out Neapolitan-style pizzas to diners.We also have a dedicated sommelier serving the very best locally sourced wines. ëlgr is Old Norse for moose – a nod to Jesper’s Swedish heritage. The restaurant opened its doors in December 2020 and offers both indoor and outdoor dining in a sheltered plant-filled courtyard, a delightfully hidden secret off busy Kloof Street.
