Wolfgat is a globally recognized restaurant situated in a historic 130-year-old fisherman's cottage in the coastal village of Paternoster. Helmed by chef and master forager Kobus van der Merwe, the establishment specializes in a unique Strandveld dining experience that highlights sustainable, hyper-local seafood and wild indigenous ingredients foraged daily from the surrounding Atlantic shoreline.

The intimate dining room accommodates up to 20 guests per sitting and overlooks Paternoster Bay, sitting directly adjacent to the culturally significant Wolfgat cave. Due to its limited capacity and strict reliance on the daily catch from local fishers, the multi-course tasting menu changes according to the weather and seasons, requiring diners to book their tables months in advance.
