About Panthera Africa Big Cat Sanctuary

Panthera Africa Big Cat Sanctuary is a non-profit ethical safe haven located in Stanford, Western Cape, that provides a lifelong home to captive-bred big cats rescued from exploitative industries. Founded in 2014, the sanctuary operates strictly under a no-breeding, no-trading, and no-interaction policy to prioritize animal welfare over commercial entertainment. It hosts species such as lions, tigers, leopards, and cheetahs, offering pre-booked educational visits to raise public awareness about the plight of captive predators.
